At awc design, our experience and versatility give us the strategic vision needed to create smart marketing solutions that take you where you want to go — instead of simply following the crowd.
Principal and Creative Director Annika Widetoft-Cook has nearly 15 years of experience in print and web design, marketing and advertising. Annika studied marketing in her native Sweden, then moved to the U.S. and received a BA in graphic design from American University. She spent many years working in Washington, DC’s diverse design community — including e-centives, a leading direct marketing infrastructure company; National Public Radio’s in-house creative department; and several top design studios.
After relocating from Washington to Portland, Maine, Annika founded awc design. Today, awc design clients benefit from the extensive knowledge and expertise she acquired while working on accounts such as: Smithsonian’s Air and Space Museum, American Psychological Foundation, Nasdaq, IBM, USDA, U.S. Generating Company (PG& E), Centech, E.J. Krause, Mortgage Bankers Association of America, Keeling Wainwright Associates, ZDNet, NetZero, Inc., USATODAY.com, and Excite.
